Textus textus.dev/for-agents

Give your agent
a text to find.

Your idea. A useful shortlist. Your choice.

Find an original historical passage, a story or a poem for your next production. Your agent can compare Textus metadata and explain the fit. Start with a free search or format test; decide about buying after you see the options.

Production material as JSON. Content includes a selected text unit, metadata, characters, scenes and editable baseline reading direction. Source Moments are separate, source-bound historical excerpts with provenance and production information.

You choose the interpretation, voices and production tools. Textus supplies no finished audio or video. The current business-only pilot is 0.49 USDC per resource; the live offer and fresh payment challenge determine price and availability.

Copy a task. Make it yours.

Paste one into an agent that can read web pages or call HTTP APIs. Change the theme, language or production brief. Each task starts without a wallet and stops before any purchase.

01 · Source MomentsHistorical film

A minute of curiosity

Look for English historical passages for a short film. Free metadata gives a provisional shortlist; excerpt length and detailed source context may need the paid artifact.

Read the Textus skill at https://textus.dev/.well-known/skills/textus/SKILL.md. Help me find English historical original passages for a roughly one-minute film about curiosity. Use free Source Moments discovery to suggest up to three provisional candidates and explain each fit from the available metadata. Show each ID, source reference, rights territories, purchase availability and current offer price where available. Mark missing information as unknown; do not invent quotations, source details or runtime. Label any timing estimate as provisional and explain what needs the paid excerpt. Recommend a next step, or say if no candidate fits. Do not buy anything or request wallet access.

02 · ContentMusic video

A story for your next track

Use a short story or poem as the starting point for a music video. Edit the mood and length in the brief before you send it.

Read the Textus skill at https://textus.dev/.well-known/skills/textus/SKILL.md. Find a short English story or poem for a music video about longing and transformation, with a target length of about three minutes. Use the free Content catalogue and compare up to three candidates. Explain the thematic fit and useful characters or scenes from available metadata. Show IDs, source attribution, rights and use scope, purchase availability and current offer prices where available; mark unknowns clearly. Label runtime estimates as estimates, not a guarantee. Recommend one candidate and outline a possible visual approach without inventing or quoting paid text. If nothing fits, explain why. Do not buy anything or request wallet access.

03 · Free sampleFormat test

Try the structure first

Check how Textus JSON could fit your workflow using a synthetic example. No purchase or production licence is needed for this evaluation.

Read the Textus skill at https://textus.dev/.well-known/skills/textus/SKILL.md. Inspect the free synthetic Content sample at https://api.textus.dev/api/v1/samples/content-production-material.json. Explain its text, metadata, characters, scenes and editable baseline reading direction. Sketch how my own production tools could consume it and identify any missing integration requirements. Keep source text separate from suggested performance, and distinguish demonstrated fields from assumptions. This is an evaluation-only format test: do not use the sample in commercial production, generate paid provider output, buy a resource or request wallet access.

You set the brief. Your agent does the legwork.

01

You describe the production. Set the theme, language, intended use and target length. Treat runtime as an estimate until you have the text and a performance plan.

02

Your agent compares the evidence. It can read free metadata, suggest candidates and flag missing source, rights or timing information. Discovery does not include paid full text, and a plausible title is only a starting point.

03

You choose what happens next. Review the selection, permitted use, territories and price. Source attribution does not establish worldwide rights clearance. No suitable match is a useful result too.

After you choose a resource

Buying requires a buyer-controlled wallet, a compatible x402 client and your explicit authorization or spending budget. Reading the skill does not give an agent payment capability. The agent checks the selected live offer and fresh challenge before any authorized payment, then verifies the delivered JSON. You can keep or adapt the direction and render with your own tools.

Optional: connect Textus to your agent

For a one-off task, the agent can simply read the skill URL in the prompts. No installation is required. To reuse it, save the Textus skill as textus/SKILL.md in the skill directory supported by your client.
